
Zongshu Instructor Training
Students who wish to enroll into our instructor training program must be members in good standing of Barrie Tai Chi & Qigong and have successfully completed their grading to 1st rank (Bronze Eagle).
Each training program consists of lecture classes that delve into the theory, practice, training and transmission of each of art and culminates in a final practical exam after logging the pre-determined number of teaching hours.
The Qigong program consists of eight classes and a practical exam.

The practical exam will consist of a comprehensive oral exam and demonstration of four Qigong sets.
The Taijiquan program consists of eight classes and a practical exam.

The practical exam consists of a comprehensive oral exam, demonstration of the Yang 108 long form and demonstration of competent push hands skills.

The classes have been designed as modules and thus can be taken independently and without a chronological order. Students must complete all classes and log the minimum teaching time before undertaking the final practical exam. Classes will be scheduled at arranged times agreeable to all parties. A complete detailed list of the curriculum will be made available for viewing to members of the club who contact me directly.
Students should understand that this training will require a minimum commitment of 24-36 months per program.
The cost for each lecture module regardless of program is $100.00/class
The cost of each practical exam is $100.00 regardless of program.
Zongshu Instructor honours will be awarded to students that complete both Instructor programs and have demonstrated competent teaching ability in all modalities of training offered at Barrie Tai Chi & Qigong.
