Ok, it's official, We have been approved to become just the 3rd Kysho study group in Canada licensed by Kyusho International. 

We'll be holding a monthly class to study Kyusho theory and practical techniques that can be employed by an martial artist regardless of style. I hope to grow the group from within the current BTC membership as well as from the surrounding geographical area. What is Kyusho?

Kyusho literally means “vital point.”

Kyusho training is the cultivation of the knowledge of the human body and how to influence it through physical manipulation.

Kyusho training requires:

·        An intimate knowledge of the human body especially the nervous and cardio vascular systems

·        Diligent hands on practice to learn to find the various points and manipulate them successfully regardless of the situation or opponent’s body type

·        A commitment to the art and your fellow students

·        A desire to take your preferred martial art style to the highest level possible
