Lessons from the Trees
11/06/2011 08:57It’s early Saturday morning and I’m watching the wind blow through the trees and my mind reverted back to some words of wisdom that I recently read from an obscure South American source that basically said, “soon, there will be radical changes throughout the world and when this happens look to the trees, for within them you’ll find the answers.”
I see the trees as supreme references to Taiji.
The trees absorb energy from external sources and then make efficient use of that energy.
The trees do not fight the wind, instead they move with the wind, never resisting, they just bend and flow, never trying to enforce their will upon an opponent.
Over many years the tree has steadily developed a root system that has forged it’s way deep into the ground in order to anchor the trunk and branches as they strive to reach toward heaven.
The trees seasonally adapt to external powers that change the playground of reality that they have chosen to call home.
Yes the trees. They do have a lot to teach us.
Peace
