Skill level is an astral substance

Last night at class I touched upon the relatively esoteric concept of skill level being an astral substance and I thought it might be a good idea to reframe what I said and share it within this blog.
Our physical form is the last link in the chain of manifestation. The course of manifestation goes from the very subtle / high vibration down through the spectrum to the low vibration gross physical world. The subtle manifests the gross.
Anything that ever was or has been, started as thought and only by working its way through many stages did the actual movement or action or item appear. Think about it.
So when we train tai chi, the subtle is filtering down to the gross as well.
In tai chi we say:
The Yi (mind) leads the Qi and the blood (physicality) follows the Qi
(Modern physics states the same thing by the way. Bohm’s implicate order informs and manifests the explicate order, meaning the physical universe)
After any expression (could be a tai chi form) there is a feedback mechanism that refines the expression and the record of the expression is stored as a subtle astral energy within the beings energetic field. This storage mechanism is what is responsible for increased skill levels due to repetitive training.
Western science would chalk this increased skill level up to mechanistic training of the mind body connection and they are correct but western understanding lacks the higher vantage point that includes the initial subtle energy phases and the energetic astral storage mechanism.
Anyone who is “lucky” enough to be instinctively or inherently skilled in any way whether it be writing or dancing or gardening has been blessed with specific subtle astral energy being passed on to them through the process of their initial manifestation of being conceived.
