Five Element Qigong

Wu Xing Qigong (Five Element Qigong) is was developed by Master Liu Deming (Ziran Qigong Lineage holder).

From the Taoists we learn of five element theory where the elements of Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth are linked to specific organs of the body. Each organ also has an energetic meridian that runs a specific course within the body.

This five element qigong set requires the practitioner to focus the Yi (intent) on a specific meridian (dependant on the form being performed) as well as link their physical movement and the breath in order to improve qi flow. Regular practice will balance and purify the organs, strengthen one’s immune system and enhance health and vitality.
